G.A.L.A: Galvanizing Adolescents Towards a Legacy of Achievement

With this benefit dinner, BWUA hopes to accomplish two goals:

1. Inspire our constituents and undergraduate peers to actively invest their time and concern in service initiatives that better the West Philadelphia community and help foster a benevolent relationship between UPenn and those in need.

2. Celebrate a community organization dedicated to alleviating social issues that plague the West Philadelphia community while providing undergraduates with a model for civic responsibility and excellence.

The Community Service Committee plans to host this dinner in late April 2010 on campus.
